        Cape York Peninsula

Cape York has a range of very exclusive guided charter operations, extended liveaboard options and fantastic lodges. Following on the Queensland's east coast, Cape York Peninsula has created a name all its own and encompasses the far northern section of the Great Barrier Reef, some brilliant east coast bays and then much of the eastern coast of the gulf of Carpentaria.

The area boast some of the most ecologically intact stretches of coastline with pristine wetlands and waterways. Wildlife is in abundance in Cape York and the regernative cycle of wet and dry seasons give adventurous folks plenty to do when conditions are suitable (March - Nov).

As the cape drawns northwards to the Tip, the fishing opportunities grow immensely to include some of the best barramundi and flats fishing off the west coast and the most superb reef and bluewater fishing on the eastern coast.
